How do I insert Custom Fields or automatic fields like First Name, Address, User Name etc into an email campaign ?

We call these custom fields and they can be easily inserted into any email campaign.
First you need to create the custom fields so go to CONTACT LISTS >> VIEW CUSTOM FIELDS, here you can create as many fields as you like, you can also use the custom fields to create segment to filter your list or add to your forms to collect specific data like name, age, sex etc.
Once you are in the editor place the cursor where you would like the custom field to appear and select the “INSERT CUSTOM FIELD” button at the bottom left hand corner or the editor window.
You will get a pop up window with all your custom fields displayed, just double click the one you would like to add.
If you select your custom field named “First Name” you will see something like %%First Name%% the system will then insert the contacts First Name when you send from a contact list.
